About The Event
Every 13 years, the fields demand a sacrifice...
For generations, the cornfields have provided a rich harvest. But local legends tell of something far older buried beneath the soil — an ancient spirit known as The Corn Mother, a deity of growth, decay, life, and sacrifice.
Long ago, a secret cult called The Order of the Husk served her, performing dark rituals within the maze to ensure the land remained fertile. Thirteen years ago, their final ceremony failed when the chosen sacrifices escaped before the offering was complete. Denied her feast, the Corn Mother turned her back on the land, and the harvest withered.
The cult disappeared. The fields fell silent.
Until now.
As the thirteenth year returns, so does The Order of the Husk. Hooded figures have been seen wandering the corn at night, whispering ancient prayers as the maze grows taller and darker than ever before.
